Netflix’s new series “From Scratch” is actually actress and author Tembi Locke’s true story. Based off Tembi’s memoir of the same name—the Zoe Saldana-led limited series follows Tembi’s rollercoaster life experience after falling in love with a Sicilian chef while studying abroad in Italy.
