Then, the transformative power of art and music— a creative who inspired many creators to “work with what they have” no matter their resources and a mom who uses thrift store finds to reimagine children’s clothing.
TUESDAY: We celebrate the power of friendships by meeting forever friends whose stories inspire. Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell have been friends since they were 9-years-old after meeting on the audition circuit, then went on to co-star on the 90’s classic sitcom, “Martin.” We’ll catch up with them and learn more about how they are reuniting for a new talk show, “Tisha & Tichina Have Issues.”
WEDNESDAY: In a daytime exclusive, Alleah Taylor speaks out about the alleged attack by her ex-boyfriend, former Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Chad Wheeler, who was charged with first degree domestic assault. Plus, women who are using the spotlight to share their stories of domestic abuse to help others.
THURSDAY: Finding self-discovery, healing, and forgiveness after facing family secrets. Stories include: one woman’s search for her past that ended on the FBI’s most wanted list; a woman whose father murdered her mother when she was just 6 years old – how she kept her parents a secret and found forgiveness; and a woman who learned her adopted family were racists.
FRIDAY: A sweet celebration of desserts with Zac Young, a Broadway costumer turned pastry chef who originated the “PieCaken”, Christina Tosi from famed Milk Bar, Jocelyn Delk Adams of Grandbaby Cakes – a cookbook and food blog inspired by her grandmother, and Jyoti Nanra, a self-taught baker who left her career as a high school teacher.
