How This Family Is Inspiring Others After Son’s Rare Diagnosis
Parents Candy and Wesleyon Zollicoffer are a true example of resilience. In 2020, their youngest son, Zion, was diagnosed with a hereditary rare disease, Peutz-jeghers Syndrome, at 15 months old. It was an especially difficult moment for the family because their older son also has it and Wesleyon does too. Not to mention, Wesleyon’s late mother had the disease and later died from it.
