‘Black-ish’ Star Miles Brown Has A New Album
Miles Brown from “Black-ish” has released his first album. The 15-year-old multi-hyphenate’s 15-track LP, We The Future, debuted earlier this month.
Miles’ new body of work highlights his desire to champion positivity, mental health, family ties and equality. He also uses the album to shine a light on the fight against racial injustice for younger generations.”It’s kind of a refresher for Gen Z and the generations that are coming up after me,” says Miles. “Eventually, all of us are going to be the ones that are in control one day, so knowing the power that we are eventually going to have—it’s important to take advantage of what we already know and can learn. That’s the biggest message I wanted to get out with this album.”
We The Future includes a feature from Miles’ dad as well as guest appearances from Jidenna, Slick Rick, Method Man, Post Malone, Damian Lillard (a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A.) and more. He credits his sister for coming up with the LP title and says that his debut project is a call to the next generation of leaders to recognize their power.
