Getting Crafty: DIY Oatmeal Mask

DIY OATMEAL FACE MASK

SUPPLIES:

  • 4-6 tablespoons of organic rolled oats
  • Food processor or blender
  • 1-2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons of organic honey
  • ¼ cup of room temperature water
  • Medium-sized bowl
  • Spoon or whisk
  • Damp towel

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: Pulse 4-6 tablespoons of oats approximately 5-8 times in a blender or food processor. The oats should still be flaky, not powdery.

STEP 2: Combine oats, egg whites, and honey in a bowl. You can use 1 or 2 egg whites, depending on how thick you prefer your mask.

STEP 3: Add ¼ cup of room temperature water into the mixture and stir until you reach a smooth, sticky consistency.

STEP 4: Apply to a clean, bare face. Leave on for 15 – 20 minutes, then remove with clean towel and warm water.
