Collettey’s Chocolate Chip Peppermint Cookies

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsalted softened butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 ¾ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4-5 candy canes crushed into fine pieces

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, and light brown sugar. Mix all together. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
  • In another mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix well.
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed candy canes
  • Roll the dough into balls and place on baking sheet
  • Chill the dough for 20 mins
  • Bake for 15 mins
  • Serve
